William founded W D Buckley Associates over 10 years ago with the aim of providing a dedicated specialist consultancy service to the public, utility and not-for-profit sectors that truly focused on delivering a value for money service that brought tangible benefits to our customers. He is a Chartered Accountant and company director, with over thirty years’ leadership experience operating at Board level across a range of advisory businesses focused on the public sector such as Ireland Market Director for Tribal Consulting, Director of HELM Corporation for GB as well as Senior Partner in HELM Auditing Services (a registered audit practice).

He has over the past 30 years carried out a wide variety of both operational and project roles at a senior management level, both internally but also externally on financial management and strategic institutional change within complex organisations across central and local government as well as overseas and in the private sector.

William's overarching goal now is to translate this knowledge and experience into a truly best in class service for our customers within a people focused organisation where staff can develop and realise their true potential.
